Directions
Directions for use: Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose. The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets. May take 2-3 days for full effect. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor. Read the package leaflet before use. Oral use. Storage recommendation: Do not store above 30°C. Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Nexium 20mg/8mg
Nexium 20mg/8mg is a brand name of Esomeprazole (esomeprazole) that is used to treat acid reflux disease (GERD). It works by blocking the absorption of acid in your stomach. Take the medication at the same time every day and for the shortest possible time. The duration of treatment depends on the type and dose. Take every day for the shortest amount of time. Do not take more often than every day. Take Nexium on an empty stomach (less than 6 hours pass in the morning). If you have not passed your dose yet, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Nexium 10mg/10mg
If you have not used any of the doses listed above, Nexium 20mg/8mg may be taken with or without food. However, you should not eat all of the doses unless your doctor tells you to. Do not drink alcohol when taking this medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Nexium 20mg/10mg
If you are taking any other type of Nexium, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist. They will decide if you should continue with the treatment or if you should stop taking the medication. The usual starting dose is 10mg once daily. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. If it is almost time to take your next dose, your doctor may direct you to take a single 10mg dose of the medication per day.
Nexium 40mg/40mg
If you are taking any type of Nexium, you should not drink alcohol when taking it.
Nexium 50mg/50mg
If you are taking any type of Nexium, you should not eat all of the doses unless your doctor tells you to. Do not drink alcohol when taking it.
Nexium 60mg/60mg
Do not give Nexium to a child. It may be harmful to the developing baby. Ask your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding your child may become sickle cells. This is a very rare reaction. Stop taking the medication and seek immediate medical help right away if you have any of the following symptoms: very weak heart or breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:Nexium may pass into breast milk, but there is no guarantee that the safety or efficacy of breastfeeding will be affected. If a breastfed child develops severe symptoms such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, it is recommended that they not be given this medication. It is not known if this passes into other countries.

Side Effects:Common side effects of Nexium include upset stomach, diarrhea or stomach pain. These are usually mild and temporary. However, they may include constipation, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, indigestion and stomach pain.
